The review published previously regarding my 2012 Rav 4 with the rusting brake issue was not intended for Sea Bay. I apologize for the confusion. It was meant for the Toyota Dealership. The service I received at Sea Bay was outstanding! Paul was very courteous and helpful when I first pulled into his service station. In retrospect, I should have had him address my problem that day. The only reason I brought it to the local Toyota dealer is because when I called the dealer ship I was told there was a recall on my car. When I got to the dealership, I was given a different story and had to pay for the service they said I needed. Anyway, again I retract the negative review and apologize to Paul and the staff at Sea Bay.

Very friendly service as I have been here before quite a while ago though. My check engine light came on and I wanted to make sure it was nothing serious as I am 90 miles from my home. Kelly's hooked up their computer for diagnosis. $121.00 later I found out the computer said it was a Evap Leak (similar to when the gas cap is not on correctly. Since there apparently was no Evap Leak, they reset the warning light and I was on my way. I thought the charge was high for nothing really being wrong but appreciated the quick, efficient check up. I would use Kelly's again.

I was on vacation in Lavalette last August 2014 and my first morning I awoke to a very flat tire. My husband took my car to Kelly's Sea Bay Service Center and came back with 4 of the best tires I have ever owned. Although I only had one flat, and it could not be fixed because the nail/screw was inside the tire wall in a location impossible to mend. Sea Bay's advice was that since ALL my tires were in need of replacement due to wear, that I purchase a full set of 4 new tires. And I am not sorry I did. These tires have gotten me through some rough NY weather this winter moving me along as if I was in a truck or 4-wheel drive vehicle. The service was professional and quick. Sea Bay handled the problem as soon as my husband arrived with little to no wait time (except to get the tires off and on!) So, thank you Sea Bay buddies. I love my tires and I hope to never pick up another nail!!!

Paul Kelly, owner of Kelly's SeaBay Service Center, went above and beyond helping me with my car troubles. My 2007 Lexus IS250 was having an engine problem. I brought my car to the service station to get checked and they went through all of the proper diagnostics to figure out the issue. When I came back to the station, Mr. Kelly explained that there is an issue with my specific make and model. He gave me a TSB (Technical Service Bulletins) notice and explained the problem. Technical service bulletins are special notices issued by the vehicle manufacturer to their service dealers. A TSB may be issued if the car company has seen similar problems with a significant number of its vehicles. He described in detail about the excessive carbon build up in my engine and what it takes to resolve the matter. He was thorough and precise and explained that the excessive carbon buildup is covered under warranty. This issue could have cost me thousands of dollars and I can use any help I can

There has been many occasions we've been very happy with our service there, but I'll be always grateful for the kindness and compassion Paul extended to my elderly aunt when her car was overwhelmed on a flooded street during a torrential downpour. Paul made sure she was picked up, her car towed and repaired, but most importantly, she was treated with kindness and compassion. My husband took my car to Kelly's Sea Bay Service Center and came back with 4 of the best tires I have ever owned. Although I only had one flat, and it could not be fixed because the nail/screw was inside the tire wall in a location impossible to mend. Sea Bay's advice was that since ALL my tires were in need of replacement due to wear, that I purchase a full set of 4 new tires. And I am not sorry I did. These tires have gotten me through some rough NY weather this winter moving me along as if I was in a truck or 4-wheel drive vehicle. The service was professional and quick. Sea Bay handled the problem as soon as my husband arrived with little to no wait time (except to get the tires off and on!)So, thank you Sea Bay buddies. PATRICK L Customer since 2007brought my car in for an oil change and told them to check the plugs. Paul recommended plugs, clean fuel injectors, fuel filter and air filter and oil change. Paul said the car was in really good condition and recommended I have the work done so I gave the ok. The next day the owner, Paul asked me to come down the car was knocking now it would not start and he did not know what to do. He called my dealer where the car was routinely serviced for help. At that point I had to have my car towed 100 miles to the dealer where it sat for almost 2 weeks while I waited for Paul Kelly's insurance adjuster to check the car. I had to rent a car for 2 weeks my vacation and car ruined. Somehow the timing belt jumped and damaged the valve. I had the belt changed and there was no damage, cracks or missing teeth on the old belt. the pulley and tensioner were also fine. I spoke with 4 mechanics and all agree there was no reason the belt could have jumped by it self. Now Paul Kelly and his insurance compa year ago Kelly's Sea Bay Service Center replied:If my service caused a problem on any car we stand behind it. No questions asked. Your car has 214,139 miles on it. We last serviced your oil 11 months ago on 8/13/13 when you car had 159,942 miles on it. You drove the car 54,197 miles in 11 months so the car probably should of had oil and filter services approximately 10-12 times in the last 11 months.(5,000 mile intervals)I have no record or those services. My insurance company investigated your claim and the adjuster spoke to Mike at Paul's Volvo as I did also. I personally told Mike if he finds anything we did that caused the 80,000 mile timing belt to jump to let me know and I would cover the repair. He found nothing. If I replaced your timing belt and it caused the damage my insurance would cover the repair. We never serviced your timing belt. My 2007 Lexus IS250 was having an engine problem. I brought my car to the service station to get checked and they went through all of the proper diagnostics to figure out the issue. When I came back to the station, Mr. Kelly explained that there is an issue with my specific make and model. He gave me a TSB (Technical Service Bulletins) notice and explained the problem. Technical service bulletins are special notices issued by the vehicle manufacturer to their service dealers. A TSB may be issued if the car company has seen similar problems with a significant number of its vehicles. He described in detail about the excessive carbon build up in my engine and what it takes to resolve the matter. He was thorough and precise and explained that the excessive carbon buildup is covered under warranty.
